Here you have the possibility to calculate the active power, the voltage, the current, and the cos φ
of e.g., three-phase motors.

P = U x I x cos φ x √3
Power: P
Voltage: V
Current: I
cos φ
cos φ has to be between -1 and 1 sein!
Please fill all mandatory inputs.

For Example:

A 400 volt three-phase standard motor has a rated current of 25.18 amps and a cos φ of 0.86.
What is the electrical power resulting from these specifications?

P = V x I x cos φ x √3
P = 400 V x 25.18 A x 0.86 x √3
P = 15.003 kW or 15 kW

Measuring Units:

Active power     P = Kilowatt [kW]
Voltage              V = Volt [V]
Current               I = Ampere [A]
cos φ                       no measuring unit
√3 or 1.73                no measuring unit
